Hi, I’m Angelique — the face behind Angeliques Photos.

I picked up photography just after high school back in Kansas City, Missouri, where I spent most of my life. What started as a creative outlet turned into something I couldn’t put down, and I found myself doing shoots here and there, learning as I went.

Everything really changed when I moved to Houston, Texas. That’s when I decided to take my work seriously and fully step into building my business. Since then, I’ve been pouring everything into growing, creating, and connecting with the people I photograph.

It’s been almost two years here, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person I’ve met and every story I’ve been trusted to capture. Watching people come out of their shell in front of my camera and seeing their reaction to their photos will never get old to me.

It’s candid, real, and full of emotion — for people who want more than just pictures, but moments they can actually feel.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead — and I’d love to be part of your story too.

Love them

A few fun facts about me:

• I’m a huge J. Cole fan—like, bad. The Off-Season and The Fall Off stay on repeat.
• I also love Kendrick Lamar, and To Pimp a Butterfly will forever be one of my favorite albums.
• I’m a matcha, iced coffee, and lemonade girl… not really big on soda.
• I recently got into coloring, and I love anything that lets me slow down and be creative.
• I’m also into reading, cloud watching (yes, actually), and planning creative shoots just for fun.
• I’m learning how to cook… emphasis on learning 😭
• I love working out and helping people feel good about themselves.
• I’m Nigerian—very much proud of that.
